About Dr. Thatcher
Allyson Thatcher comes to Trident Pain Center with twenty years post-residency experience, including four years as an active duty Captain in the Air Force. Thatcher received her Bachelor of Science Degree from George Washington University in 1985. She then completed her Doctor of Medicine Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1989.
With her military background, Thatcher has practiced in Texas, Arkansas, and Pennsylvania before moving to Charleston in 2006. In her time in Charleston, Thatcher has worked at the Naval Weapons Station and most recently served as Medical Director at Concentra. Thatcher resides on Daniel Island with her husband and children. In her spare time, she enjoys sports, reading, and singing in her church choir.
