About Dr. Nolan
Joseph Edward (“Ed”) Nolan has been practicing medicine since 1996. He received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Nolan served his General Surgery Internship at MUSC, and completed his Anesthesiology Residency and Pain Fellowship there as well. He is Board Certified in Pain Management and specializes in interventional pain management for neck and back pain.
Dr. Nolan began his private practice in 2002, opening Trident Pain Center in North Charleston. Under his direction, the practice has grown remarkably to include multiple locations. Each day Dr. Nolan strives to provide exceptional patient care; his dedication and compassion are evident in the standards of excellence he has established within his practice.
In Dr. Nolan’s time away from the practice, he can be found enjoying the outdoors or spending time with his family.
